Hello! Therapy is a journey, and at times it can be painful. Sharing that pain—especially with someone you don’t yet know—can feel intimidating. I strive to create a space where our therapeutic relationship feels genuine, safe, and nurturing. I believe that warmth, compassion, and trust are central to healing, and I work to help lighten the weight you carry during our time together.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating a variety of therapeutic modalities to best meet each client’s needs. I am EMDR-trained and Gottman Method Level II trained, and I incorporate skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I am currently working toward becoming an AASECT-certified sex therapist. I am a strong supporter of the LGBTQIAP+ community, as well as the kink/BDSM and consensual non-monogamy (CNM) communities.
I enjoy working with individuals and couples ages 13 and older. With couples, my work focuses on strengthening connection and enhancing communication. With individuals, I often use EMDR to help process experiences where clients feel stuck and to install effective beliefs that support growth and self-enhancement. I aim to meet each client where they are and tailor sessions accordingly. Although I practice exclusively via teletherapy, I have found meaningful and creative ways to foster connection and healing across the screen.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my partner and watching sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. I love playing video games (such as World of Warcraft, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Baldur’s Gate 3), and I share my home with “The Arnnimals”—five birds, two dogs, and one cat. I also enjoy working out, reading, crocheting, playing instruments, and writing.
