Hello!

At the heart of my approach is the belief that healing happens in relationship, with yourself and with others. I work with the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. That might mean building awareness and trust with the parts of you shaped by past experiences or slowing down to notice and reconnect with the wisdom of the body. I draw on mindfulness, parts work, somatic awareness, and EMDR, weaving these together based on what you need. In sessions, I bring warmth, open-mindedness, authenticity and humor when appropriate. I will gently challenge you to notice areas where you can grow and help you celebrate the progress you make.

I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, existential anxiety, ADHD, and addiction and recovery. I also work with people who are struggling to manage stress and want support in creating more calm and ease in their daily lives at home, with family, at work, and in their relationships. Additionally, I support clients in integrating experiences with plant medicine.

I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. Before coming to mental health, I worked in education, corporate settings, and have experience providing care at the inpatient level.

My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, grounded in the belief that many of our struggles and the ways we cope begin to make sense when we get curious about the experiences that shaped them.

I work from an attachment framework, using a Polyvagal-informed lens to understand how the nervous system responds and to support a sense of safety within our relationship. My approach to trauma is informed by my EMDR training, Level 1 certification in Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), and IFS-informed parts work. I also draw on ACT and DBT skills to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and values-based living.

When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me at my kids’ sporting events or spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy quiet mornings with meditation, music, and coffee; listening to books and podcasts; and spending time at the beach.
