We are uniquely trained to help you cope with and overcome trauma, anxiety and depression, among other challenges.

Things you should know:

  • We have clinicians that specialize in working with kids (ages 6 and up) teens and adults. Matching you with the right therapist is very important to us.

  • We offer sessions virtually and in-person at our north Raleigh and South Durham offices.

  • We accept BCBS and Aetna insurance plans. For self-pay rates, see our FAQs

We are passionate about what we do and are eager to be a part of helping nourish the mental health of our community and our world. We invite you to send us an email or call us to chat, any time, whether you want to learn more about therapy and how it can help or someone who is interested in beginning a therapeutic journey now. New to Therapy?

Whether you are brand new to therapy or are a seasoned therapy advocate, Nourish Carolina Counseling will meet you exactly where you are in your journey. We recognize that you are a unique individual with your own thoughts, feelings and experiences. As such, we will seek to support you as the whole person that you are. Psychotherapy may look different depending on each client, however it’s foundation is the therapeutic relationship, — the development of trust and comfort between you and your therapist. Your therapist will support you by fostering an air of non-judgment and mutual respect so that you feel comfortable getting actively involved in sessions. Your therapist will also help you in your efforts to better understand and change your thoughts, feelings and behaviors using evidence-based treatment interventions tailored to you. Therapist Spotlight

Meet Kaitlyn— she’s one of the good ones.

1. What's your favorite way to unwind after a long day of sessions? After a full day of connecting with others, I like to slow down with a good book, a quiet walk, or a little time in my small but mighty garden. Time to myself, especially outdoors, helps me recharge so I can return fully present the next day!

2. What's one thing your clients would be surprised to know about you? Being a therapist is not my first “adult” job! Before becoming a therapist, I worked in Human Resources for about four years. That time in the corporate world taught me a lot about how we move through transitions, navigate stress, and manage conflict - both in and outside the workplace. It helped me see how important it is to be heard and understood, and solidified my desire to go back to school and become a therapist!

3. If you were performing in a talent show tonight, what would your talent be? Speed puzzling! I’ve always had a knack for jigsaw puzzles, and I only recently discovered that speed puzzling competitions exist (who knew?). Now my friends and I are hoping to try our luck at a few in the coming months!

4. What days and times are you available to see me as a new client?! I am most available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays before 3pm. Feel free to reach out to chat more about scheduling.
